My story

Shania cat came to us with Her siblings and had respiratory issues and eye issues. She has been spayed, vaccinated, treated for fleas/ticks, feline leukemia tested and negative and dewormed.

The eye infection she came to us with was significant and although she was treated and no longer has the eye infection, it has permanently affected one of her eyes, we are not sure how much she can see out of her right eye but she can see some, however it will always be cloudy. She does struggle with on and off again respiratory issues. She is a sweet cat and does not let anything stop her. (She is bigger than she is in the photo as we have had her a while due to her health issues that she came to us with) She is slightly timid of other cats and would prefer to be the only cat and an Indoorhome. Again she needs to be an ONLY cat due to her personality and health issues. She would make a great furever friend for the right person/family.

Their adoption process

1.

Submit Application

We have a short application. It does include a veterinarian reference so it helps to have your vet’s number handy.

2.

Interview

We are always happy to talk about our amazing pets and learn more about you as well. Some animals have special needs.

3.

Home Check

Home check for specific animals only.

4.

Meet the Pet

We love to set up appointments for you to meet your potential furever friend.

5.

Take the Pet Home

We do ask for cats and small animals that folks have appropriate and safe carriers to transport home.

Additional adoption info

We are all volunteers and we do adoption meet and greets normally by appointment after applications are submitted and work with you to find a time to meet your needs as well. Since covid this has really helped as we are able to give families plenty time of their own to spend with the animals they are interested in adopting as it is a big decision to adopt and we appreciate you. Thank you for your kindness and looking to adopt !

Go meet their pets

Since we are all volunteer we ask that you let us know a good time for you to meet and visit the fur babies so we can ensure someone will be there when you arrive. A volunteer will work with you to find a time that will work best for you, even on weekends including Sundays and after work hours.
