My story

Reba came to us with Her siblings and had a very bad eye infection and respiratory issues. She was immediately taken to our vet and has been nursed to health. However one of her eyes is cloudy and will likely be for her whole life. We think she can see a bit but not much out of it. It is most likely caused by feline herpes but she is feeling so good now and is looking for her furever home. Due to her health issues it would be preferred that she be the ONLY cat, unless she is adopted with one of her siblings. She does love her siblings. She is spayed, had her shots, feline leukemia tested and negative, dewormed and treated for fleas and ticks.

Their adoption process

1.

Submit Application

We have a short application. It does include a veterinarian reference so it helps to have your vet’s number handy.

2.

Interview

We are always happy to talk about our amazing pets and learn more about you as well. Some animals have special needs.

3.

Home Check

Home check for specific animals only.

4.

Meet the Pet

We love to set up appointments for you to meet your potential furever friend.

5.

Take the Pet Home

We do ask for cats and small animals that folks have appropriate and safe carriers to transport home.

Additional adoption info

We are all volunteers and we do adoption meet and greets normally by appointment after applications are submitted and work with you to find a time to meet your needs as well. Since covid this has really helped as we are able to give families plenty time of their own to spend with the animals they are interested in adopting as it is a big decision to adopt and we appreciate you. Thank you for your kindness and looking to adopt !

Go meet their pets

Since we are all volunteer we ask that you let us know a good time for you to meet and visit the fur babies so we can ensure someone will be there when you arrive. A volunteer will work with you to find a time that will work best for you, even on weekends including Sundays and after work hours.
