My story

Rue may be the smallest in her litter, but she has a big personality! She's an adventurous and affectionate 4-month-old torbie kitten that became especially attached to the large dog in her foster home. She would cuddle with him and chase his tail! Rue loves pouncing on crinkly balls and chasing fishing pole toys. She and her siblings came to AFRP as 3-week-old orphans and they were bottle-fed in foster care. Bottle kittens are typically very bonded to humans and very well socialized, and Rue is no exception. She loves to play with her siblings, chase her toys, eat and sleep. Rue is bonded to her sibling, Nova, and they would like to be adopted together. She gets along with cats, kids and with friendly dogs. She'd love to be part of a household where she will get lots of love, attention and play time. Rue has great litter box habits and good kitten manners. She is currently at our Pet Food Express adoption location at the Crossroads in Carmel. Meet and greets can be arranged once your online application has been received and approved.Visit www.animalfriendsrescue.org for our online adoption application.

Additional adoption info

Adoption fees help to cover the cost of the care the animal has received during their time with us, including spay/neuter, vaccines, microchipping, deworming, and flea treatment and basic foster care. All potential adopters complete an application and are screened using a standardized series of questions by a trained adoption counselor. If the application and screening are satisfactory, a qualified adopter can complete a contract, pay the adoption fee and take the animal home.
