Sox is an 11-year old male. Like all cats and kittens, he will need lots of socialization, play time and love. Sox is a relaxed and affectionate guy. He loves to cuddle and to be pet. He will come right over and make himself at home by your side or in your lap and keep you company. He is a great companion. He is very friendly and interested in whatever you are doing.
He has been neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and is up-to-date on vaccines.
Sox is currently available to meet you in person at the Lifesaving Center at 307 West Broadway between Grand St and Canal St. The Lifesaving Center is open to visitors 12:00-6:00 pm, Fridays through Wednesdays ( we are closed on Thursday). Please note that we do not hold animals and the cats that are currently available at the Lifesaving Center may be adopted before your visit. Come see us!

More about this shelter
We are excited to announce that Best Friends programs in New York and Atlanta have combined forces to create a new collaborative East Coast corridor solution to lifesaving.
Atlanta programs are transitioning out of their current facility to a fully virtual foster-based model, a transformation already supporting lifesaving work through COVID-19, and will grow to support lifesaving programs all along the East Coast
The New York Lifesaving Center located in the Soho (307 W. Broadway, NY, NY) is currently closed to the public and being used a foster and transport hub!
