My story

Look out folks! Here comes the Pooh Crew! Wait, that didn't sound quite right... Anyway, though these little ones may not have come from the Hundred Acre Wood, they are just as sweet and wonderful as those who did.

Our Winnie is the female representative of the classic story's protagonist. She is the most well rounded kitten ever! She is playful, brave, loving, and trusting. She is very curious, and always up for an adventure. She loves people and getting pets. She greets her human in the morning, and then is ready to seize the day! We are quite sure she would write poetry too, if she could just get past that "no thumbs" hurdle!

So, if you would like to have this sweet girl in your life, please complete and submit our adoption application at www.FLUFFNashville.org.*

*We strongly recommend that you go ahead and submit an application rather than submitting inquiries because others are and this kitty may be gone by the time we get to the inquiries.

Why adoption is a great option

Winnie, a Nashville Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Nashville, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Nashville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nashville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nashville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nashville paves the way for another one to be saved.
