He’s extremely sweet and affectionate and we’ll never know why he ended up at our county shelter or why his humans didn’t look for him.

Monk is such a great dog we knew he’d be the perfect addition to our Pawsitive Change Prison program. He joined the crew going into North Kern prison and spent several months learning basic obedience skills. He picked everything up super fast! The skills he learned in prison make him an even more amazing dog and we hope those skills get you to take a second look.

Monks original family may have abandoned him but their loss is our gain and we know we can find Monk a family as amazing as he is.
