Additional adoption info
The first step in the process of adopting a pet from Companion Cats is to complete an adoption application. It provides information that enables us to assist you in the selection of a pet. Together, we will be able to determine if the adoption is in the animal’s best interest, and the process ensures that you will find an animal well-suited to your lifestyle.
Our $75.00 adoption fee (or $110.00 for two) includes the cost for general care while being fostered, microchipping, age appropriate vaccinations, testing for FIV/FeLV, and spaying or neutering of the animal. To be considered as an adopter, you must:
*Be at least 18 years old
*Have a valid driver’s license or Michigan Identification Card stating your current address
*Provide the name and phone number of your veterinarian
*Have the knowledge and consent of a landlord, if relevant (also provide the name and phone number of your landlord)
*Be able and willing to spend the time and money necessary to provide medical treatment, proper nourishment and care, as well as, training for a pet
Call 269-209-7278 to begin the adoption process.
NOTE: We reserve the right to refuse adoption to anyone. No animal will be adopted to persons who mislead or fail to provide accurate information on the adoption applications.
