My story

Rosie here! I’m a very affectionate, beautiful 8-year-old kitty who looks a lot like that shelter boss cat Sammy (we could be twins, but I’m a big larger)! I came to the shelter through no fault of my own – my canine sibling could not understand that I’m an older gal and would rather chill than play. I do, however, get along well with calm four-footed siblings as well as the two-footed little ones. I’m now looking for my furever home where I can relax and enjoy life – is that with you? If so, please come see me at the shelter Tuesday-Saturday, 12-4!

You can visit Rosie at the Euclid Animal Shelter, 25100 Lakeland Blvd., Euclid, OH. The cat and kitten adoption fee is $70 which includes the initial FVRCP shot, FeLeuk/FIV testing, worming, flea meds, and spay/neuter.

Why adoption is a great option

Rosie, a Euclid Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Euclid, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Euclid.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Euclid already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Euclid breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Euclid paves the way for another one to be saved.
