My story

Allow me to introduce Chauncy. He is 58 pounds, 2 years old and all bulldog! Chauncy is an extremely good boy, he is quiet, housebroken and a great big snuggle bug. He is currently recovering from tail amputation surgery but will be healed very soon and ready for his forever home. He gets along great with his fur foster siblings. He enjoys running the yard, getting treats, watching TV, napping on the couch and hanging with his foster Dad. He knows basic commands and is very obedient. Chauncy would do well in a home with adults and older children.

Why adoption is a great option

Chauncy, a Decatur English Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a English Bulldog for sale in Decatur, or seeking a English Bulldog dog from a breeder in Decatur.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Decatur already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Decatur breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even English Bulldog breeders who help with English Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Decatur paves the way for another one to be saved.
