My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Have you ever seen those babies that are born looking like elderly folks? We are excited to introduce you to the puppy version!! Introducing the Little Old Souls Litter. These pups were named as such because when their foster mom picked them up from the shelter, they were tiny and wrinkly like cute little old folks. Apparently, their mama had abandoned these sweeties at only a week or so old, and a woman brought them into the shelter because she was unable to handle their care. The shelter told her if she left them there, they would die, so she took them home until one of the shelter coordinators could find a rescue willing to help. One of our amazing fosters stepped up and bottle fed them for another two weeks, facing the illnesses that come with puppyhood as well as their size working against them, & they came through as healthy happy little pups! They are ready to turn the next page in their book, and find a rocking chair to spend their days on.

Meet Edie! ❤️
Edie is black with beautiful golden hints of Brindle peeking through her coat, and she is slick as silk. This cutie is very much a leader, she’s thought she’s one of the “big dogs” since day one, even when she was only 2 pounds! She’s never been shy when playing with them or following them anywhere. Edie is spunky and confident, and vocal when playing rough with her friends!

Edie is very treat-driven and quick learner! She will follow her foster mom in and out of their play pen, yard or house with a whistle and the promise of snacks! Her and her siblings are working on crate training and they LOVE a good dog bed to snuggle on. If you would like to add this gorgeous girl to your family please apply.
