My story

What a gem this girl is! Jersey is just a year old, 65lb, Shepherd mix. Jersey has been an amazing pup since the day she arrived at the rescue. Jersey is always happy, friendly, fun, and is very smart! Jersey has lived with kids and other dogs. She is very playful, loves exploring, hiking, running and enjoys chewing on her plushies. She almost always has a toy in her mouth! Jersey needs an active home where she can be part of the family and join in on adventures. We are looking for a home with a yard and large doggy sibling to play with. She tends to be submissive and has never shown any aggression towards anyone. She is just a big sweetheart and really wants to please! Jersey is already housebroken, spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines, so she can move in right away! Why adoption is a great option

Jersey, a Temecula German Shepherd Dog/Akita dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Akita for sale in Temecula, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Akita dog from a breeder in Temecula.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Temecula already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Temecula breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Akita breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Akita rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Temecula paves the way for another one to be saved.
