Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Have you ever seen those babies that are born looking like elderly folks? We are excited to introduce you to the puppy version!! Introducing the Little Old Souls Litter. These pups were named as such because when their foster mom picked them up from the shelter, they were tiny and wrinkly like cute little old folks. Apparently, their mama had abandoned these sweeties at only a week or so old, and a woman brought them into the shelter because she was unable to handle their care. The shelter told her if she left them there, they would die, so she took them home until one of the shelter coordinators could find a rescue willing to help. One of our amazing fosters stepped up and bottle fed them for another two weeks, facing the illnesses that come with puppyhood as well as their size working against them, & they came through as healthy happy little pups! They are ready to turn the next page in their book, and find a rocking chair to spend their days on.
Meet sweet Vera 💜
Vera is a beautiful white pup with brindle patches and cute extra wrinkles. She has the best puppy dog eyes and knows how to use them to get what she wants! She’s a cuddler but also has a playful side. Her favorite spot is cuddled up with the biggest dog in the house, who loves her just as much.❤️
Vera is very treat-driven and quick learner! She will follow her foster mom in and out of their play pen, yard or house with a whistle and the promise of snacks! Her and her siblings are working on crate training and they LOVE a good dog bed to snuggle on. If you would like to add this little girl to your family please apply!
