Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Popeye
Parson Russell Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier
Male
12 years old
18 lbs.
Hi friends, my name is Popeye! I’m the sweetest pup looking for my forever home. My owner surrendered me due to no fault of my own–she got very sick and had to let me go. I miss her so much, but I just know I’ll find another great family to take care of me.
My foster family says that I am literally the most amazing dog on the planet! I adore humans, I’m amazing with kids (I live with a 4yr old and 6yr old in my foster home and do just amazing with them!) And I’m also so great with other dogs as well! I live with multiple dogs in my foster home and I love being a gentle friend to them. And even though I’m a more mature dog in age, I’ve got enough pep in my step! I love going for walks but also just enjoy hanging around my family getting tons of love. You may as well consider me a regular ol’ lap dog, cause that’s what I love to do. Cuddle, lay in your lap, and receive all the affection. I’m also potty trained and I do perfectly fine with free roam of the house when they’re away.
I am also in really great health overall! I recently had a dental so my teeth/mouth feel SO much better. I did have quite a few teeth extractions so I’ll likely need softened food going forward. I don’t have any ongoing medical needs other than a slight heart murmur that the vet said is very mild and doesn’t require any medication/medical attention.
I truly am just the most special pup and I can’t wait to find a family to adore me always. Ready to have a little Popeye in your life?
