Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Whitney, an absolutely adorable Westie mix who, after ten years of loving her current family, has to find a new forever home because they are expecting a baby in November. Now, this beauty may be 11 years old, but she’s got the heart and soul of a puppy…and sometimes the energy too! Whitney is playful, expressive, sweet, and loyal. She prefers staying close but will settle in for a snooze if alone. Whitney does have some fear-based anxiety and has been known to nip in response to things that trigger her. Her triggers, however, are clear, and the situation is definitely workable. Her current family, though, does not want to risk a negative reaction by Whitney to the new baby. So, here we are, with a senior dog facing a life-altering change that will surely cause her anxiety. As all dog lovers know, however, our furry friends are resilient and forgiving. With patience and love, Whitney will adapt to her new home. At 17 pounds, This little lady is spayed, microchipped, and current on her vaccines. To meet Whitney, please email Jonah at jkanin@gmail.com.
