My story

Est. DOB: 4/2021

Currently weighs 58 lbs

BooBerry is the most amazing girl that came to her foster home right before she had a larger litter puppies and lost 7 of them at birth that left her to care for 6 pups. She loves to be cuddled and as close to her human as possible. She likes to sleep in the room with her foster parents.

BooBerry is great with other dogs but has not met a cat yet. She is a polite girl and doesn't jump on you but still working on the basics like Sit and Down. She doesn't pull on the leash. She does have to be watched for counter surfing as she loves some homemade pumpkin bread (don't we all??)

A belly rub is one of her favorite pass times. She doesn't really play with toys but LOVES a good chew. She is not a fan of getting a mani/pedi on but her foster family is getting her more comfortable with it. Boo doesn't really bark as she likes a quiet space. She will spend time in a crate without too much issue but will put up a fuss if she knows you're home and she is in the crate as she wants to come hang out with you.

Whomever had Booberry before didn’t take care of her, so she is heartworm positive. But fear not! She is on the slow kill treatment approach that is easier on her. And if adopted, the rescue will cover the cost of the slow kill treatment until she tests negative.

Please consider making this gorgeous girl a member of your family. As we are a foster based rescue, we do require a completed application to be submitted before we arrange a meet.  This can be found on our website at

$200 adoption fee includes core vaccinations, rabies vaccination, heart worm test (in dogs over 6 months of age), microchip and registration, spay/neuter, wormer and flea and heart worm prevention while the dog is in our care. All breed and size categorizations are estimates.
