Pierre is shy and cautious but treats and toys will win him over. He will observe and check it out before he takes part. Pierre loves kitty toys, but his favorite is a kitty tunnel as he sprints through it and rolls around the inside. After all that sprinting and rolling, Pierre seeks out his favorite place for a nap, a kitty hammock. His ideal home is with an individual, couple or family with older children as he may be overwhelmed with the holding and playing of a young kid. Pierre should do well with other cats; he has been witnessed playing and hanging out with other cats. He should be fine with a cat-friendly dog. Pierre is a 1-year-old black and white with a cap and saddle pattern.
Friends of Jackson County Animal Shelter Pets (FJCASP) is a foster-based rescue for dogs and cats. All pets are in a home environment cared for by a foster person who provides temporary care until the pet can be placed in a permanent home. Friends of Jackson County is an all-volunteer, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization.
