Where do we even begin?

Baby Girl was rescued from a very bad situation. When she was taken in she could barely stand because she was skin and bones. She had massive fur loss due to fleas and ticks...but you see that wasn't even the worst part.

Baby Girl was used for years to breed really pretty puppies for money.  Over and over.  Then when she could no longer even stand, she was turned out to fend for herself.  Some days we just have no words, our hearts were broken.

Here is the open and honest facts as we have gotten to know and love our sweetheart, Baby Girl.

She has horrible arthritis in her spine and knees.  She can only climb one or two stairs and at some point she may need a cart with wheels.

She is on a joint supplement and a multivitamin to help her bones and joints.  She is super quiet and well behaved in her foster home.  You must remind her go outside to potty three times a day because she's like a child and gets so excited, she at times forgets and doesn't think she need to go until it's too late.

She loves other dogs and takes treats very gently. Her ears were terribly infected when we got her from years of neglect and she could possibly end up needing to have her ears cleaned weekly and watched so they don't get that way again.

She has the sweetest personality and temperament.  Baby gets excited and grabs whatever toy or bone is nearby and brings it to you. She's a special girl and needs a special family to love her and be willing to work through her special needs.

If you can be her faithful companion and the love of her life, please apply.

I have been spayed, vaccinated, heartworm tested negative and microchipped.  If you are interested in adopting me, please complete the adoption application located at www.furrykidsrefuge.org/adoptadog and a dedicated volunteer will get back to you as soon as possible.
