My story

How this pet arrived:
Whiskers was brought in by his previous owner on May 29, 2022.

Why this pet is the one for you:
This is Whiskers! This sweet boy enjoys chin scratches, taking long naps and sun bathing on a nice windowsill. Mr. Whiskers does have a few medical conditions that will require his new family to be diligent about monitoring his health and diet. He previously experienced a urinary blockage which is a very serious and painful condition. It is recommended that Whiskers is fed a prescription diet to prevent future blockages, in addition to increasing moisture in his diet (ex. cat water fountains, wet/canned food) as well as reducing stress which can also cause flare-ups. A medical consult with one of our veterinarians will be required prior to bringing him home so we can set Mr. Whiskers and his new family up for success. If Whiskers sounds like the cat for you and your family, ask an Adoption Counselor for more information!
