This first step to Adopting a Pet is filling out an Adoption Application. Applicants interested in the pets first need to be approved before being able to place a hold on or adopt the pet that they are interested in. Adoptions are on a First Approved basis. Proof of residence and vaccinations for current pets will be verified before approval. Those looking to Adopt Pit Bulls or Chows must also complete additional references, a criminal background check, and home visit. Adoption Fees vary from $50 to $150 with specials even lower. This includes the Spay or Neuter, First Vaccinations, De-Worming, Microchip with International Registration, 30-Day Pet Health Insurance Gift, Science Diet Food Sample, and a 2 Week Health and Personality Guarantee.
