My story

Bat Masterson This sweet little guy is fun-loving and playful. Bat loves to chase and wrestle with his siblings. He is also a big snugglebug! He likes to cuddle with his people and is very affectionate. He is a bit shy at meeting new people, but he warms up quickly and then you’re his best friend! Bat is great with other dogs, and he is learning to respect kitties.
Bat is still young and will need help with his housebreaking and crate training. Bat will need a home that is familiar with active breeds and is willing to put the time and effort into training and socializing this cute puppy so he can grow up to be the best dog. We strongly encourage adopters to enroll in Puppy Training Classes to help guide them through teaching their pups how to be calm, confident, and well mannered.

Why adoption is a great option

Bat Masterson, a Salt Lake City Border Collie/Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Salt Lake City, or seeking a Border Collie/Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Salt Lake City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salt Lake City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salt Lake City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Border Collie/Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salt Lake City paves the way for another one to be saved.
