Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sitka came to us from a young couple with a 1 year old child and they said she was good with their child.. She is 1 year; so, is very active. She is shy, but VERY lovable too. She is very timid with strangers and especially scared of men she is not familiar with. Sitka has been violent with smaller dogs/animals. She would do well as an only pet or with a large, male dog. She is more confident when she is with another large dog. Her and my female pitbull get along mostly, but Sitka does want to be dominant, which can cause problems. We live on a highway and Sitka likes to jump the fence. Sitka will dig and chew when bored. She walks pretty well and listens to basic commands when on a leash. She responds well to treats and toys, as well as, a soft, but firm voice. She likes to go for rides in the car and walks at the pond and along the canal by our house. Sitka is crate trained and house trained. The only accident was when she was new here and nervous. She deserves a good, safe home.
