My story

Mariah is looking for her forever home! She is a sweet and friendly girl. Even though her foster mom’s office door is open, Mariah prefers to hang out in the office and would love to be a lap cat. She seems to like toys as well. Her unique coat looks like a dilute calico coloring. Mariah grew up with other cats and has lived with cat-friendly dogs. Mariah is around 7 months old. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and FIV/FeLV negative. The adoption fee is $150. She is being fostered in Colorado Springs. If you are interested in adopting this pretty girl, please submit an application at the following link: https://www.fromforgottentoforever.com/catadoptionapplication/

Why adoption is a great option

Mariah, a Colorado springs Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Colorado springs, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Colorado springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colorado springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colorado springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colorado springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
