My story

Meet the handsome Paddy! He is a 3 year old Newfoundland, Great Pyrenees mix and a big guy who doesn't know his size at all. He does have bad allergies we are working on with him that will require a hydrolyzed protein food diet and likely allergy medication throughout his life making him "special needs." He loves to play, hang with other dogs and is ok with cats. He cannot be with other dogs under 35lbs or kids under 6 years old due to him not knowing his own size. He loves to counter surf but is working on it and is a big goody dog.He is super friendly and loves just about everyone and everything he meets. He loves to snuggle and wants to be with you at all times. He still has lots of energy and he loves to romp and play. He never turns down a good belly rub. He is currently in foster care and available for pre-adoption. He can't wait to find his forever home!

Why adoption is a great option

Paddy, a Ringwood Newfoundland/Great Pyrenees dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Newfoundland/Great Pyrenees for sale in Ringwood, or seeking a Newfoundland/Great Pyrenees dog from a breeder in Ringwood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ringwood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ringwood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Newfoundland/Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Newfoundland/Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ringwood paves the way for another one to be saved.
