Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Daisy Mae's owners made the agonizing decision to give her up to us to find her a new home. We genuinely applaud owners who can recognize that their dog may not be living their best life, and put their animals before themselves!
Daisy is a really sweet Frenchie with all the typical Frenchie traits! Daisy Mae would be just fine as an only dog in the home, but would also be ok with one other. Her former owner describes her as, "Full of life and lots of love. she is loyal and just wants to make you happy."
Daisy loves walks, but isn't a hiker, so long distances won't work for this gal. She is also kennel trained and house broken, but will need a little encouragement when it rains (wait til she sees snow for the first time!).
We have pledged to Daisy Mae's former family that we will include them in the screening process to find her new home.
Daisy Mae travels to Wisconsin on 6/26!
**Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once approved a meet and greet with the dog. Please do not apply if pets in the home are not up to date per our website requirements or are not altered.
Wisconsin applications are priority, but Illinois applications will be considered if no small children are present in the home, the home is owned, and excellent vet reference can be provided. We cannot process applications from other states.
Adoption fee is $350 unless otherwise noted above.
Puppies under 1 year of age accept application for families with children over 6 years of age for large breeds and over 8 years of age for small breeds. Since they are still puppies, dogs under 1 will require a basic obedience and puppy training class, and spay/neuter at the owners expense.
