Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Pedro and Palomino are adorable, fast, wiggly and talkative, four-month-old, male guinea pigs looking for a loving guardian together.
Pedro is a tri-color smooth coat, Palomino is a red and white crested. These babies were born to a guinea pig who came into our rescue pregnant.
The boys are fast, wiggly, happy, healthy and love each other. They eat unlimited timothy, orchard and botanical hays, share two cups of fresh salad each day and a ¼ cup of pellets. Guinea pigs need daily vitamin C which they get from fresh pellets, a 1-inch square of red pepper, or some of their dark leafy greens.
Please read up on guinea pig care and diet before adopting by visiting this excellent web site http://www.guinealynx.info/
They would love a home with people who will love them, handle them daily, keep them well-fed, nails trimmed, and keep their habitat nice and clean.
If you’re interested in meeting and possibly adopting Pedro and Palomino, please fill out the adoption application at https://friendsofpetraits.com/guinea-pig-adoption-application/ and follow up to make an appointment by contacting friendsofpetraits@gmail.com
Their adoption fee of $50 as a pair benefits the friends of Petraits Rescue Group. For an additional $50, we’ll include a kit of absolutely everything you need to care for them including their cage, pellets, hay, hidey hut, and water bottle.
They are being fostered in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood.
