My story

Bodam hopes you’re having a great day! He’s a male Korean Jindo mix that’s 4 years old and weighs about 25 pounds. We rescued him from the euthanasia list at the Gyeonggi-do Shelter in Korea and now he’s ready for this exciting chapter of his life! Bodam’s known for being sweet, gentle, easy-going, and affectionate. He loves exploring the outdoors on long walks and he’s a great walker too! When he’s inside, he follows his foster around and likes getting lots of pets. Bodam’s also doing awesome with potty training and he sleeps peacefully in his crate. He’s hoping to find his lucky adopter soon - could that be you? Apply to adopt!

Why adoption is a great option

Bodam, a LONG ISLAND CITY Jindo dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jindo for sale in LONG ISLAND CITY, or seeking a Jindo dog from a breeder in LONG ISLAND CITY.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in LONG ISLAND CITY already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a LONG ISLAND CITY breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jindo breeders who help with Jindo rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in LONG ISLAND CITY paves the way for another one to be saved.
