He’s the complete package! Given his playful nature, he’d love to find a home with one of his siblings or in a home with another young cat or kitten.
He has done well with other kitties in his foster home. Given his personality, we believe he would do well with children and cat-friendly dogs if allowed time for an introduction.
Porthos has initially tested positive for FIV but as a kitten, it could easily be a false positive. Oftentimes the antibodies from nursing from mom can cause a false positive in kittens under 6 months old. FIV in general is something that can only be transmitted to other cats and only through blood. Because of this, it’s rarely transmitted to other cats in the home with a proper introduction so that they become good friends or acquaintances.
His adoption fee includes his neuter surgery, microchip, and age appropriate vaccinations.

The Mission of Juliet's House is to promote the humane care and rescue of abandoned animals; to support volunteers willing to foster such animals through socialization and medical treatments to adoption. Additional goals are to promote spay and neutering of pets to reduce over-population and to increase the general public's support of abandoned animals and improve the welfare of companion pets through education.
