My story

Patches is being fostered in Arkansas.

Patches loves affection and loves her foster brother Ranger (dog). She is using the doggie door, under supervision, like a pro already! She loves to snuggle and sleep in the bed but is fine in her own bed too. She is learning to walk on a leash. She is very sweet and a very bright young girl!
BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.

Why adoption is a great option

Patches adoption pending!, a Madison Australian Shepherd/Catahoula Leopard Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Catahoula Leopard Dog for sale in Madison, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Catahoula Leopard Dog dog from a breeder in Madison.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Madison already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Madison breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Catahoula Leopard Dog breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Catahoula Leopard Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Madison paves the way for another one to be saved.
