My story

I LOVE LOVE these puppies!!!! As of 6/8 they are only 15 weeks old and huge! They have massive paws so these will grow into BIG dogs. They belonged to a person in Alabama who had not spayed the mom. As a result, boom, a litter of big puppies! She tried to find them all homes but most southerners do not like big dogs. Of the couple that she did find homes for, they were brought back in a couple of weeks for things like "my son is allergic" or "too much puppy for me." Due to their size, these pups will need proper socialization and training to teach them acceptable behavior. This is an AWESOME mix and these puppies have been well-loved. The owner cried as she left them with us and checks on them daily. We can't let these beauties down!

Why adoption is a great option

Dexter, a Brattleboro Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Brattleboro, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Brattleboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brattleboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brattleboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brattleboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
