My story

Atticus is the only boy in his litter. He loves to play with his sister, especially if there is water around. He also gets along great with dogs of all sizes. Atticus also loves people and will give all the kisses if you let him!

*Please do NOT send an email or an adoptapet inquiry. Due to volume and staffing, we are not able to respond to all messages. If you are interested in this animal, please submit an application. That is always the first step. If the animal is still listed, it has not been adopted yet. Thanks!

Why adoption is a great option

Atticus, a Reisterstown Labrador Retriever/Mountain Cur dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Mountain Cur for sale in Reisterstown, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Mountain Cur dog from a breeder in Reisterstown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Reisterstown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Reisterstown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Mountain Cur breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Mountain Cur rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Reisterstown paves the way for another one to be saved.
