Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Tink. I am a 6 month old Chihuahua. When my owner realized I was partially blind they didn’t want me anymore. My mom was too old to have puppies but got pregnant. I was the only puppy. I can see shadows and can get around my foster home quite well in every
room. I get along well with my foster brother who is also a puppy, but bigger. I don’t like really big dogs as much. They make me nervous. I love to play and prance in the yard. My foster mom laughs and calls me Prancer. Being sight impaired doesn’t seem to bother me. I am very loving, sweet and able. Foster Mom also calls me sweet Tink. She says I have a sweet spirit and gives me lots of hugs. I am on a schedule for sleeping and eating. I sleep in a kennel at night (but would be happy to sleep with you) and only need to go out to potty about 5:00 AM or so. I will let you know if I need to go sooner. I go potty outside every time I am taken out, but sometimes have an accident in the house…I’m still learning. I need to be in a home where my owner can be home with me most of the time. I stay in a playpen if Foster Mom is gone for 2-3 hours just fine. Four hours or longer alone would be too much. He's so sweet and will be a blessing to anyone who can be home more with him. He does well in the doggie purse and he loves being carried around he’s a good little traveler.
