My story

Aww, sweet Melissa! She was on an adventure when spotted and arrived to the shelter on 6/11. Melissa is 2 years old and has a beautiful gray and white coat. Did you see the little gray on her chin? She is dreaming of a home with lots of toys and a snuggly bed. Does this sound like your home? Is your heart telling you that Melissa may be the one? Ask for ID# 637187 Cage 620. She will be spayed soon, micro-chipped and combo tested upon adoption.

Please note, all of the pet listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers, not shelter staff. If this pet came in as lost (not an owner surrender), we don't know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, names are oftentimes made up by volunteers.

This pet and many others are available for adoption from the Cobb County Animal Shelter 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, call (770) 499-4136 for more information. Shelter hours are: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. by appointment only until further notice, CLOSED Mondays & Holidays.
