My story

Meet Squeaks a ten week old beagle mix pup looking for his furever. Squeaks came to HART with his other siblings after they were found on a rural property. Squeaks is a very curious guy that likes to check everything out. He has been doing well meeting some of the resident dogs. He is picking up in their cues very quickly. Squeaks has already mastered the blanket by scratching at it to make a comfy bed. This little guy is a clean slate to start fresh with a puppy. Apply for Squeaks at https://www.rescueahart.org/

Why adoption is a great option

Squeaks, a Cincinnati Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
