Skippy is part of a trio of kittens who were found with their dead mother. Apparently she had been hit by a car and the kittens were around her body. They were taken into foster care and then came to Friends for re homing. We have had Skippy and his siblings for about 3 weeks and they are healthy and comical and sweet and affectionate-and GORGEOUS!!. All you could want in a kitten!
We recommend kittens be adopted in pairs for their emotional well being. He is a very social kitten and since his siblings were adopted has been very vocal and distressed. We have him in with LUcy and her kittens for comfort. He needs to be adopted with a companion.
There is no adoption fee for our animals, but a donation to Friends is most welcome and most needed. Every kitten has a state mandated deposit and the $75 fee is refundable once the kitten is spayed or neutered at a later date and the veterinary certificate is send to Friends.

Sign Adoption Contract
The Agreement clearly states the responsibilities of the adopter and protects the animals.

Pay Fee
There is no adoption fee for S/N animals, but kittens require a $75 deposit each--refundable when S/N by a vet and proof send to Friends.

Take the Pet Home
Happiness! Be sure to bring a clean cat carrier with you. We will not release an animal who is not confined for their safety

Friends of Plumas County Animals is a non profit 501(c)3 organization We are dedicated to improving the lives of the animals who come into our rescue and to reducing the number of unwanted/homeless animals through spay and neuter programs.
