Lukas A411429

Located At : Sonoma County Animal Services

Description : I am a neutered male, brown and white Pit Bull Terrier.

Age : I am estimated to be about 8 years old.

Weight : I weigh approximately 97 pounds.

More Info : I have been at the shelter since May 08, 2022.

Lukas is an all-around darling boy who is like sunshine on a cloudy day! His loving personality, joyful nature and soulful connections have the ability to bring so much joy and happiness into your days. He's quite adorable too and loves entertaining himself by playing with toys. While here with us he met another dog and has a polite, quiet and relaxed playstyle. We feel a home with children ages 13 and older might be best for him. –O

More about this rescue

We are a group of people dedicated to rescuing dogs from crisis situations, some of which include euthanasia by animal shelters, neglect and other forms of abuse, or "free to a good home" ads, which result in dogs being bounced from one home to another, or being acquired by animal brokers ("bunchers") and sold to research laboratories where they are used for testing then discarded ("cruelty industries"). NBCR&P works primarily with 5 herding breeds, and herding breed mixes. On occasion, NBCR&P also rescues and places other breeds. We foster our dogs in a home environment, rather than a kennel, if at all possible. We take pride in our promise that at any time and for any reason in the dog's life, if the need arises, he or she has a safe place with us ("return to rescue" policy).
