Bernie came from the streets and ran with the wrong crowd. Stayed out late, got in fights. He was the classic tom cat, tough as nails. But he turned into a real softie once he got a taste of the indoors - a private room, great food, healthcare and endless toys. Suddenly the streets seemed like a distant memory. When he was on the outside no one told him he’s supposed to be aloof. In fact, he’ll just roll up on you and plop down in your lap. Turns out, Bernie’s a real sweetheart…total lap cat. Inside living suits him just fine. If his boys could see him now...life is as cool as the other side of the pillow. Bernie is calm & laid back, but still likes to play with catnip mice & toy wands. He’s not afraid of strangers. He gets along with other cats & doesn’t seem afraid of dogs (but hasn’t been truly tested). He hasn’t been around children yet. He’s a middle-aged/older gentleman, but he’s in good health. Get ready for some lap snuggles. Bernie’s a happy cat who can bring you happiness, too.
