My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Frenchy is a sociable kitten that often greets staff and visitors, asking to be petted. He likes playing with toys, climbing the cat condos, and racing around her cottage with the other kitties. Frenchy is a great all-round kitty that would do well in almost any home.

Frenchy is so grateful to have been rescued from a culvert behind Wendy’s in Estero when he was just 5 weeks old!

More about this rescue

The Animal Refuge Center (ARC) of Fort Myers is a not for profit animal welfare society dedicated to stopping the escalating cost to impound, care for, kill and dispose of dogs and cats dying for no reason other than having been born. ARC is helping to cut the large numbers of homeless animals which eventually cuts the costs to taxpayers, which to date has reached over half a million dollars a year.

ARC is a non-euthanasia organization. Once we accept an animal for adoption, IT WILL NOT BE DESTROYED TO MAKE ROOM FOR ANOTHER. We are here to help the unwanted and neglected animals who now face certain death.
