My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We apologize for the lengthy post, but this gal's story needs to be told...

Kerry was adopted from our shelter 4 years ago, after being the longest resident of the shelter at that time, waiting patiently for her home for a year. Every day, she was passed by again and again. She was the best gal though, and was so eager to greet anyone who passed by her kennel with a big ol’ smile. We thought Kerry had found her forever home. Kerry did not find her forever home. We found out that Kerry had 2 different homes from the original home she was adopted to.

We recently got a dog that was bit by another dog in an accident when she wandered into that dog's yard. We instantly recognized Kerry, though her muzzle became more grey. Despite having multiple bite wounds, her loving demeanor was still there and she greeted us with kisses. Kerry has healed up from her wounds, but does have some diminished hearing as a result. Her owner was notified, but never reclaimed her. Kerry is 7 years old, and most 7-year-old dogs enjoy couch time, sunbathing, and cuddling with their humans. Kerry finds herself once again in search of a forever home... We ask you to please share this post in hopes of finding Kerry her committed happily ever after. Kerry is still athletic despite her age. She will love joining you for an evening stroll around the neighborhood or for a fetch session in the backyard. She does well with other tolerant but playful dogs so far. Kerry has done well with Sammy too. She would be a wonderful companion to have by your side. Help us find Kerry that love after all she has been through.
