PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BEFORE YOU RESPOND.
SARA LANCE (named after the show "LEGENDS OF TOMMOROW") was living outside. She would go to a guy's house in South Gate, CA to eat. He said every day she would be hiding from at least 10 tom cats trying to rape her. He had 8 unfixed cats separated in his house so he couldn’t let her inside. He fended the tom cats off with the hose. This is why she is very weary and offensive of other cats.
So when an independent trapper called us...we IMMEDIATELY asked them to transport her to us. I remember crying into her fur when she arrived to us. We were also told by that trapper, that she had already had 4-5 litters of kittens that this man had given away.
We noticed right away that she could not balance herself. We took her to our vet and she believes that all she went through probably caused her to wobble and / or as a kitten she developed slight cerebellar hypoplasia (CH).
So our SARAH LANCE will never know the street life AGAIN. She has been living a nice pampered life. She is loved and spoiled!! She has no problem getting around. She is actually a very happy, playful girl. All she wants is love, pets, and to be right next to anyone that will love her. She loves (well demands) to be carried and kissed.
SARAH LANCE is DOMESTIC LONG HAIR / SIAMESE MIX. She is about 1 year old and is OK with cats and non- reactive to dogs. She has never been around young children. We believe she will do best with no cats or one cat and / or a cat friendly dog.
SARAH LANCE is currently at a Petsmart in Murrieta, Ca off Madison Avenue.
JUNE 2022: With all the needed social distancing, we are still doing adoptions. VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees.
Volunteers are usually at Petsmart between 9 - 10 am to 12 pm - 1 pm. Please note that it is totally up to the volunteers if they are comfortable with allowing you in the cattery. (COVID). Steps 1-5 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS.
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. Request Online Application
2. Fill Out Online Form
3. Submit Online Application
4. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview
5. Will be notified of Approved Application
6. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty
7. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED)
8. Sign Adoption Contract
9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH)
10. Take the Kitty Home

The 4th way is to go to one of the 3 PETSMARTS and SCAN the flyer (located all over the windows in front of the cattery) with the ONLINE APPLICATION.
Meet and greets will take place at the Petsmart location where the cat/kitten is currently located at. The cats/kittens at a foster/rescue home, we will do meet and greets at any of the 3 Petsmart locations listed below. Gas donations always appreciated!

If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets.
Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption.
We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out be patient.

We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens. So, we do not do DISCOUNTS.
