Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bella is a four year old, seventy-five lb, pointer-hound mix who we adopted as a puppy. She is a wonderful, cuddly dog, loved by all who meet her. She loves being outside and is off-leash trained with a wireless leash. She is submissive and plays well with other dogs. We comfortably leave her home alone, uncrated, during full workdays with no issues. Although she will sleep in her crate, she experiences anxiety when the crate door is closed, making crate-training difficult. Bella has a tendency towards resource-guarding her food (only with adults, not other dogs or children). She is food-motivated and responds extremely well to consistent training. Because Bella is so high-energy, she requires daily exercise to be at her behavioral best. We have sadly realized we do not have the time to give Bella the attention she needs to thrive. We are looking for someone who wants a true companion dog, and will invest the time into helping Bella meet her full potential.
