Bean is looking for a quiet, easy-going and loving home where she can continue to decompress and blossom.
Any potential adopters must be patient and aware that Bean is very nervous in new environments, but once she has settled and learned comfort she turns into a sweetie. If you're looking for a cuddly cat, Bean would not be the one for you.
Though Bean requires a bit more time and dedication, she is still more than worthy of having a home to call her own.
Bean and Sprout are bonded and we would love for them to be adopted together!
TO APPLY: Please go to pittiesandpurrs.org and submit an application. If an animal is listed we are still accepting applications at this time

Bean, a Baltimore Calico cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Calico for sale in Baltimore, or seeking a Calico cat from a breeder in Baltimore.
Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baltimore already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baltimore breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Calico breeders who help with Calico rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baltimore paves the way for another one to be saved.
