My story

Meet Tod!!! He's a sweet blue tic Beagle puppy approx 10wks old. Tod is such a good boy! He is doing great with potty training and almost always either hits the potty pad or goes potty outside on the patio.
Tod made sure he was going to make his foster mama love him the mostest! Always hopping up on my lap for plenty of puppy snuggles and kisses
He loves to play tug with his siblings too. He weighs about 10lbs and is a happy, healthy sweet little boy! If you are interested in making Tod a part of your family visit rescueahart.org for the app

Why adoption is a great option

Tod, a Cincinnati Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
