Say "hello" to our sweet fella Onyx. Onyx has been with us for awhile now, and we can understand why, but we really hope he can find his forever home soon. He truly is the sweetest cat you will ever meet!

Onyx is a special needs cat and he is FIV+. Onyx has an auto-immune disease that affects his gums and because of it, he has lost several teeth and has had battles with stomatitis and gingivitis. To keep his issues under control, he is on B12 (liquid added to his food), Prednisolone (to keep inflammation at bay), and Famciclovir (which is an anti-viral). These meds are not used every day, but he is on a med regimen which serves him well and we can give you more specifics if you are interested in adopting.

We certainly understand that taking on a special needs cat is not for everyone, but we sure hope his special someone is out there and will fall head-over-heels for his charms. Just come meet him and you'll see just how incredibly affectionate and sweet (and yes, special) this boy is. He really is that fabulous!
