My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Basco is a 6.5-pound Chihuahua. He was an angry fear biter. Now he just gums you. LOL! All of his teeth have been removed or have fallen out. He eats canned food or softened kibble. We gave this guy a chance because he's harmless and we thought we could bring him around. He is making a lot of progress. He still freaks out when you pick him up but settles down and allows you to carry him. He will come to lay beside you, but you are lucky to get some pets in. We are hoping to find a foster home or an adoptive home for Basco so that he can get more one-on-one attention, and progress further. He has obviously suffered neglect and abuse. He's 10 years old and not in pain from his bad teeth anymore. He deserves a nice quiet home to live out the rest of his life. We are looking for an adult only household with someone home a lot to work with him.  We have an anonymous donor willing to take care of Basco's adoption fee to the right person.     Please apply at www.misfitsdogrescue.org
