Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mac is an awesome one-year old male Rottweiler mix who was brought to the HSOV on June 23, 2022 by a Good Samaritan who had found him on Veto Road (off SR 339) in the Veto Ohio area on June 21st along with Reese (a male Rottweiler/Labrador Retriever) who may possibly be his brother. The Good Samaritan tried in vain to locate their family before bringing them to our shelter. Neither Mac nor Reese were wearing a collar, and they were not microchipped.
Mac has a black short smooth coat with tan/brown shading on his legs, a white chest, a long tail, and a handsome face with dark brown eyes, brown shading on his long muzzle, tan eyebrows, and short floppy ears.
The Good Samaritan who kept Mac & Reese safe before bringing them to our shelter indicated that they are housebroken and are good with other animals.
Mac weighs 63 lbs.
Thanks to HSOV Volunteer John Tynan for helping Mac with his photos and for treating him to a nice walk afterwards.
In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Mac will be held for three days so that his family will have an opportunity to reclaim him with proof of ownership.
Since Mac was not reclaimed, he was neutered on July 15, 2022 and was also given rabies vaccine.
