My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Paddington is just as sweet and cuddly as a teddy bear. Upon meeting him, the first thing you want to do is cuddle up. He is such a sweet boy and adores all the love all the attention he can get. This pup didn't have the best start in life and was abandoned at a shelter in Texas, sick with a respiratory infection. He got lots of TLC with a foster there, then transferred to Dolly's Legacy in Nebraska. Paddington is learning so many new things. He is finding that toys can be a fun thing to play with. He is a really laid back puppy who enjoys hanging out next to his other furry foster siblings and his humans. Still being a puppy, of course he loves to play and run around the yard. He can be quite talkative when it’s time to eat. He just wants to make sure he won’t miss another meal. This boy is kennel & house trained. He is working on his basic puppy manners such as "sit & down". Walking on a leash seems to be new for this guy as he is learning well but could still use some work. He will be an extra big dog once he is fully grown so leash training is a must. Paddington would love a home with a big fenced in yard to run around with or an acreage or farm. It would even be a bonus if he had another playmate to show him the ropes. If you are looking for a laid back yet playful pup to join your family, Paddington may be your perfect match.

Requirements to adopt Paddington: Home ownership with a LARGE fenced yard or an acreage or farm, no apartment; ability to take on daily walks, verifiable exceptional pet ownership history. Preferred breed experienced with Great Pyrenees or other XL breed.

Paddington is a growing Great Pyrenees puppy, born approximately 1-10-22. He will grow to be an XL big boy as he has large paws & large features. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventive, dewormed and started on heartworm preventative. Adoption fee is $600 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs.

We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
