My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Mia!
We love this little weirdo so much!
Mia is a young kitty, maybe 1.5 years old, and she is The Best Cat.
She was re-rescued from a family who took her in when they found her in a park. They held onto her until they got busted by their landlord and shared her story on social media looking for a rescue.
How could we say no? So she became a Jellicle Cat.
She craves attention, she is the most affectionate cat.
she is inquisitive and playful, and adjusts fairly quickly to new kitties. She matches her play style to the kitty she's playing with: Houdini likes to wrestle pretty roughly, and she's like, OK! and will wrestle with him. Bettina likes to chase toys around the cateryy, and Mia is like, ok! and will chase toys with Bettina. And when Nicodemus wants to steal the pouches of food or squeezy treats from the pantry shelf, Mia is like, ok! and will engage in petty larceny with Nicodemus.
She even likes the hounds of Jellicle Manor, and will happily greet Dinky when he comes to say hello!
She likes to sit on the matron's shoulders, and will get behind the matron's head, putting one back foot on each shoulder and will groom the matron's hair.
You know she's really happy when the drooling starts.
She makes the best biscuits.
She will sit in front of the matron, and the matron will reach out her arms and ask "uppies?" and Mia will stand up on her back legs, reaching out for the matron to pick her up, like a toddler with a favorite parent, and the matron will pick her up and hold her and Mia just melts.
The Matron was told that Mia has a heart murmur, and so the matron has been reticent to put her up for adoption until we got the all clear from the vet to put her up for adoption.
And now, even though the matron is going to cry when it's time to send her to her new family - the matron has decided that Mia is ready for a new life.
Sometimes we have to love them enough to let them move on to their next family. Goodbye is the goal, after all.
