My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

PLEASE don’t look at age 13 and think “Oh, she’s too old.” I am a wonderful, lively girl looking for a forever cushy home and love. My previous owners took me and their 18-year-old cat to the shelter and told them they just didn’t want us any more, even after they told them our adoption chances were probably zero. Can you imagine? Lucky for us, two foster parents came and rescued us, and her foster family has adopted her. My foster mom and the vet decided my young attitude, good health, and a dental cleaning made me eligible to find a wonderful and truly forever home where I can shower love and be showered with love.

I love to be held and cuddled, cradle me on my back like a baby and I’ll give you the sweetest looks! I also like to play, and I run fast sometimes just for fun. My left eye is blind, but flutter a dangle toy in front of my right eye, and you’ll be in for some entertaining play action.

I do a cute and funny thing sometimes, put my paw in my water bowl, then lick the water off, but then I also sometimes just drink from the bowl, who knows why! I need to be brushed regularly as I have a lush coat and don’t lick myself because the hair makes me cough up a hairball, and I hate that (as you might, too).

I’m a petite little lady at just over 6 lbs, front declawed and the perfect house cat according to my foster mom, so I will be a great friend and companion. One thing to note, I do detest other cats but I've checked out my foster mom's dog and she ignored me. So maybe a dog who ignores me would be okay. Can’t wait to meet you if it seems we could bring each other forever happiness! Please contact my foster mom Carol at 913-469-9881 or cjdavis@everestkc.net to arrange a meet and greet.
