My story

Meet Stanlee!
Sweet ham has been with us 4 years almost. As an older kitten, he followed the kids home from walking the corn field. He refused to be left behind. In the 4 years with us by age 2 he was diagnosed with stomatitis and since has had 3 dental's but as of next week or so he will have a full mouth abstract. StomatItIs NO MORE! Stanlee has been with us this long and it is time he gets his happiness forever.
Stanley is a hulk of a ham cat. Even with stomatitis, he exceeds 10 pounds. He loves to eat and enjoys his dry and wet food as well as his requested daily treats. He is a talker but not obnoxiously, loves all dogs, amazing with every cat and critter he meets and his signature love move is head buds and full body rubs against everyone. You will love him! Absolutely amazing with kids too.

Additional adoption info

Completed applications MUST be Printed & Mailed via United States Postal Service. We are a volunteer-based rescue, meaning every person involved is doing their best. Taking time out of their busy day to best help provide proper daily maintenance care for every dog and/or cat in our care until the best match with a happy forever adopter is made. Normally our adoption application processing review may take 2 to 3 weeks give or take. If you are seeking same-day adoptions then AHS may not be the best fit for your needs. We do not agree with impulse adoption. Adopting any pet is a decision that should not be taken lightly nor made impulsively.

Go meet their pets

We are a foster-based all-volunteer program. We are not a government shelter facility nor are we open to the public. Our adoption process can take 2 to 3 weeks from the time you mail it in to the time that we reach out to you. If you are window shopping we are not the rescue for you. We are seeking committed adopters.
