Meet our sweet little Mia. Mia is an extremely gentle and sweet little girl. She's most likely between 1-1 1/2 years of age and on the smaller side at around 50 lbs.

Mia is an exceptionally gentle and sweet little dog. She's a bit shy and unsure initially, but she warms up very quickly and wants to attach herself to everyone she trusts.

Mia probably hasn't had the best life so far. She's not received the kind of care she should which is especially heartbreaking to see for such a gentle dog with such a soft soul.

Mia's softness is evident in everything about her. She's got the softest coat, soft sweet face and deep, soulful eyes and just the gentlest demeanor. She just melts when she's given kisses and snuggels and she lights up and becomes a silly, playful girl when you take her out to play and for walks. She loves to be out and about on adventures even though she can be an easy going well behaved dog in the house.

Mia needs a family to bond with that will love her and take good care of her. She deserves to have the good life and is totally a dog that would love to be completely spoiled and babied.

Even though Mia can be a little shy at first she is going to be a great family dog and will do wonderfully with gentle older kids that know how to be kind to dogs.

Mia is also friendly with most other dogs and loves to wrestle and play. She would love to have a friendly male doggie companion she can really bond and play with. Like most shy dogs she seems happiest with another dog to show her the ropes and give her confidence.

Mia has not been fully cat tested yet, but so far has not shown a lot of interest. She may be considered for a very confident, dog savvy cat with slow introductions and lots of supervision.

If Mia sounds like the right match for your family don't wait. We really want to see Mia find her own home and family soon. She's too sweet to be homeless!

Adoption Requirements

*CPBR rarely makes same sex placements for purebred pit bulls, exceptions only for mixes and breed savvy, multi-dog experienced owners, all pets in the home must be spayed/neutered

*Adopters must be at least 25 years old (exceptions may be made for homeowners that show a history of stability and responsibility).

*We check property records. You must either be a home owner or get approval from your landlord and be able to provide us with contact info to verify that pit bulls are allowed.

*We are looking for responsible dog owners that can show they have done their research. These are people that undertand why pit bulls should not be taken to dog parks, left outside unattended, and why pit bulls should always be supervised with other animals.

Adoption Process

Requires references, home visit, contract and $150-$250 adoption fee depending on vetting and training provided . All dogs are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, de-wormed, heartworm tested and on preventative, health checked and microchipped at a minimum
